My name is Sizwe Mlangeni and I live in Diepkloof. I attend church at St. Margaret Immaculate Conception. I learnt so much on Alpha, but the biggest highlight for me would definitely be meeting the Holy Spirit because I've always wanted to know more about Him. After we had the talk on the Holy Spirit I sat down alone at home and I went through that session on my own. I felt the tears in my eyes and it gave me great joy to realise that my talents are from the Holy Spirit and that the Bible was written by the Holy Spirit through men. I have learnt how to be filled with the Holy Spirit and what the Holy Spirit does.
I now know that the Holy Spirit resides in me and He is watching over me. The bible says that He has been sent by God in the name of Jesus to guide me and direct me. He is also there to reveal to me the things that I do not understand. When I am confused I know that I can trust the Holy Spirit to make me understand. I love God, I honour Him - He is my God.
I thank everyone who took part in growing Alpha in such a way that it reached my parish and thereby reached me as well. I also thank the founder of Alpha and pray that God bless him. May the grace of God rest upon everyone who is involved in this ministry - Sizwe Mlangeni
